How to convert XLSX to PDF

XLSX is the standard Microsoft Excel format and the most common spreadsheet format in business. Sharing a spreadsheet as XLSX requires the recipient to have Excel or a compatible application, and formulas, column widths, and font rendering can differ between software versions. Converting to PDF locks the layout so every reader sees exactly the same document.

BoltConverter converts XLSX to PDF on its servers, rendering all sheets, cell formatting, charts, and embedded images. The output is a presentation-quality PDF that prints cleanly and looks the same on every device.

Upload your XLSX file

Click the upload area or drag your .xlsx file onto the page. Files up to 100 MB are accepted.

Frequently asked questions

Are all worksheets included in the PDF?

Yes. Each worksheet is rendered as one or more pages in the PDF, in the order they appear in the workbook.

Are charts and pivot tables included?

Yes. Charts embedded in the workbook are rendered into the PDF alongside the spreadsheet data.

Will formulas show in the PDF?

No. The PDF shows calculated cell values, not formulas. This is the same as the print view in Excel.

Is my spreadsheet kept private?

Your XLSX is sent over HTTPS and deleted from the server immediately after conversion. BoltConverter does not retain spreadsheet data.

What if my sheet is very wide?

Very wide sheets may have columns cut off. For precise control over page breaks and column widths, set the print area in Excel before converting.
