How to convert PPT to PDF

PowerPoint presentations (PPTX or PPT) require Microsoft PowerPoint or a compatible app to open and display correctly. Converting to PDF produces a universally readable file that renders slides identically on any device, is easy to share by email, and cannot be accidentally edited by the recipient. PDF is the standard format for distributing presentations for review or printing.

BoltConverter converts your PowerPoint file on our servers, rendering each slide as a page in the output PDF. Text, images, shapes, charts, and most formatting are preserved in the output. After conversion, both files are deleted from the server immediately.

Upload your PPT or PPTX file

Click the upload area or drag your PowerPoint presentation onto the page.

Frequently asked questions

Does each slide become one page in the PDF?

Yes. Each slide in your PowerPoint presentation becomes one page in the output PDF, in the same order as the original presentation.

Will animations and transitions be in the PDF?

No. PDF is a static format and cannot represent animations or slide transitions. Each slide is rendered in its default state, as if the animation has completed.

Will speaker notes be included in the PDF?

No. The standard conversion produces a slide-only PDF. Speaker notes are not included in the output.

Will custom fonts in my presentation be preserved?

Common fonts render correctly. Custom or uncommon fonts that are not available on the server may be substituted with a similar default font, which can affect the visual layout.

Are my files stored on the server?

No. Both the uploaded PowerPoint file and the resulting PDF are deleted from our servers immediately after you download the result.
