How to convert PNG to PDF
Screenshots are typically saved as PNG or JPG files, which work well for quick sharing but are awkward to include in formal documents, reports, or email attachments that require a PDF. Converting a screenshot to PDF wraps the image in a professional document format that is easy to annotate, print, and archive.
BoltConverter places your screenshot into a PDF on our servers, sized to fit the page while preserving the full resolution of the image. Multiple screenshots can be combined into one multi-page PDF in a single conversion. After you download, both files are deleted from the server.

Frequently asked questions
Can I combine multiple screenshots into one PDF?
Yes. Select or drag multiple screenshot files at once and they will all be included in a single PDF, each screenshot on its own page in the order uploaded.
Will the text in my screenshot be searchable in the PDF?
No. The screenshot is embedded as an image in the PDF. The text visible in the screenshot is not recognized or indexed as searchable text. For searchable PDFs from screenshots, you need an OCR (optical character recognition) tool.
What formats are accepted as input?
JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WEBP, and TIFF screenshots are accepted.
Will the screenshot quality be preserved in the PDF?
Yes. The screenshot image is embedded at its original resolution in the PDF. There is no additional compression applied that would reduce visible quality.
Are my files stored on the server?
No. Both the uploaded screenshot and the resulting PDF are deleted from our servers immediately after you download the result.
