How to convert SVG to PDF
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is the web standard for vector graphics. Logos, icons, diagrams, and illustrations saved as SVG are defined using mathematical paths and scale perfectly to any size. However, SVG files cannot be directly attached to emails, printed from most applications, or submitted to systems that expect PDF. Converting SVG to PDF produces a vector-quality PDF that can be opened, printed, and shared universally.
BoltConverter converts SVG to PDF on its servers while preserving vector paths, text, and gradients. The output PDF contains the original vector data, so it remains sharp at any print size. No rasterization occurs.
Upload your SVG file
Click the upload area or drag your .svg file onto the converter. Files up to 100 MB are accepted.
Conversion runs on the server
The SVG is rendered to PDF with full vector fidelity, preserving all paths and text.
Wait a moment
Most SVG files convert in seconds. Complex SVGs with many paths may take slightly longer.

Click Download to save the PDF. Your SVG is removed from the server after conversion.
Frequently asked questions
Is the PDF output vector or rasterized?
The output is vector-based. SVG paths are converted to equivalent PDF vector paths, so the PDF remains sharp at any zoom level or print size.
Are custom fonts in the SVG preserved?
If the fonts are embedded in the SVG or are standard web fonts, they will be included in the PDF. If the SVG references a font by name that is not available on the conversion server, a fallback font will be substituted.
Can I use the PDF in Adobe Illustrator?
Yes. The vector PDF can be opened in Adobe Illustrator and paths should remain editable.
Is there a file size limit?
BoltConverter accepts SVG files up to 100 MB. Most SVG graphics files are much smaller than this.
Are my files kept private?
Your SVG is sent over HTTPS and deleted from the server immediately after conversion.
