How to convert PDF to JPG
BMP (Bitmap) is an uncompressed raster image format native to Windows. Each pixel is stored individually with no compression, resulting in large but lossless files. BMP is required by some legacy Windows applications, certain industrial software, and specific hardware devices that do not accept PNG or JPEG. Converting a PDF page to BMP renders the page as a flat pixel-perfect image in BMP format.

Frequently asked questions
Why is BMP so much larger than PNG?
BMP stores every pixel without any compression. A typical PDF page rendered at 150 DPI will produce a BMP file several times larger than an equivalent PNG. If file size matters, use PDF to PNG instead.
Is each page a separate BMP file?
Yes. Each page of the PDF is rendered as a separate BMP image.
What resolution are the output BMPs?
Pages are rendered at a standard screen resolution. For higher-DPI output for print or technical use, you may need a local tool with configurable DPI settings.
Is my PDF kept private?
Your file is uploaded over HTTPS and deleted from the server immediately after conversion.
