How to convert FILES to JPG

When you have a batch of images in different formats such as PNG, BMP, TIFF, or WEBP and need them all as JPG, converting them together saves the repetition of handling each file individually. Batch converting to JPG is common for preparing photos for web upload, sending to a client with a size limit, or organizing an archive in a consistent format.

The conversion runs in your browser using WebAssembly. None of your images are uploaded to a server; they are read from your local disk, re-encoded as JPG at the quality level you choose, and made available for download. There is no server-imposed file count or size limit.

Select your files

Click or drag multiple image files into the drop zone at once. PNG, BMP, TIFF, WEBP, and similar raster formats are accepted.

Set JPG quality

Choose a quality level that applies to all files in the batch. Quality 85 is a practical default; go lower for smaller sizes, higher for maximum fidelity.

Convert all files

The WebAssembly encoder processes each file in turn, generating a JPG for each input. Progress is shown as files complete.

Download the JPGs

Download files individually or as a ZIP archive, depending on what the tool supports.

Frequently asked questions

Is my data uploaded to a server?

No. All conversion happens locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device.

How many files can I convert at once?

There is no server-imposed limit. Practical limits depend on your browser's memory and the size of the images.

Will transparent PNGs have a background after converting to JPG?

Yes. JPG does not support transparency. Transparent areas are typically filled with white in the output. If you need to preserve transparency, convert to WEBP or keep the PNG format.

Can I convert RAW photos to JPG in batch?

This depends on which raw formats the browser-based engine supports. Common formats like ARW, CR3, and NEF may be supported; check the tool's supported input list.

Why would I choose JPG over PNG for a batch of photos?

JPG files are significantly smaller for photographic content, which matters for web performance, email, and storage. If the images contain sharp text, logos, or need lossless fidelity, PNG is the better choice.
