How to convert DOC to PDF

DOC is the older Microsoft Word document format used before the 2007 OOXML transition. While most people have moved to DOCX, DOC files are still common in archives, legal documents, and older business systems. Converting a DOC page to JPG is useful when you need to embed a document page as an image in a presentation, website, or social media post.

BoltConverter renders each page of your DOC file to a high-quality JPG image on its servers. The conversion preserves fonts, layout, and formatting as they appear when the document is opened in Microsoft Word. Results are available for download page by page.

Upload your DOC file

Click the upload area or drag your .doc file onto the page. Files up to 100 MB are supported.

Server renders the document

BoltConverter's servers open the DOC file and render each page as a JPG image.

Preview the pages

Thumbnail previews of each page appear. Check that the layout and text rendered correctly.

Download your JPGs

Download individual pages or all pages at once. Your DOC file is removed from the server after conversion.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between DOC and DOCX?

DOC is a binary format used by Microsoft Word 97 through 2003. DOCX is the newer XML-based format introduced in Word 2007. Both can be converted to JPG with BoltConverter.

Will the fonts and layout look correct?

Yes for most documents. Common fonts are included on the conversion server. Documents that use unusual or custom fonts may show substitutions, but layout and structure are preserved.

Can I get each page as a separate JPG?

Yes. Multi-page DOC files produce one JPG per page, all available for individual download.

Is my document kept private?

Your file is transferred over HTTPS and deleted from the server immediately after conversion. BoltConverter does not read, store, or analyze document contents.

What resolution are the output JPGs?

Pages are rendered at a resolution suitable for on-screen use. For print-quality output, you may get better results exporting directly from Word as a high-DPI PDF and then converting pages.
